Essie Haute As Hello

This is Haute As Hello from Essie’s Summer collection. I love the color, but I’m not sure I like the satin-y finish on this one. I used a top coat anyway so I guess it doesn’t matter that much. 😀

Essie Playa del Platinum

This is Essie Playa del Platinum from their Resort collection.

Love this color! I almost didn’t get it but decided to get the four colors in the collection anyway, and I’m glad I did because I’ve tried all four now and they are all lovely! 😀

And after a couple of days I added some nail decals on top:

Here is a closer look at the decals:

I liked how this turned out, and it lasted for days! I finally changed it because I wanted to try a new color and the decals were starting to fall out, but the polish stayed perfect! 😀

Essie Pretty Edgy

I passed on this color a couple of weeks ago when I was in Ulta. Since then, I’ve seen lots of pictures of it and was regretting not getting it. I stopped by the beauty store the other day and got this one and an OPI. I’m so glad I got it!

This is a gorgeous green! 😀 It applied well too, I did three thin coats, but I think two thicker ones would be fine too. So pretty, it’s bright but not too bright, it’s just perfect! I’ve had it for a few days and I have some tip wear but I still don’t want to change it!

Two recent NOTD’s

These are two manis from last week. The first one is Essie Splash of Grenadine:

Isn’t it pretty?

And this one is China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy:

My hands are a little dry in this one, it’s from doing lots of filing at work! This color is brighter in person, also I used a top coat because I like it more shiny! At first, I wasn’t sure I liked it much, but after getting used to it(I think the brightness made my skin look dark and weird at first), I think it’s a nice summery shade. Everyone at home and work liked it too. Also, I went duckpin bowling after I put this one on and my nails were glowing under the black lights, it was fun 😀

Turquoise & Caicos And A Grape Fit!

I wore these two in the last few days, first is Essie Turquoise & Caicos:

This is a really pretty turquoise color! I only did two coats, I think it needed a third one to be opaque and avoid vnl but I got impatient and only did two 😛
Still, I think it’s gorgeous!

And this OPI A Grape Fit! I love all purples, and this is lovely one!

Essie Lapis of Luxury

I got my Essie Resort collection!
So far I’ve only tried Lapis of Luxury:

I love the color although the formula was thin and runny so it was difficult to apply. Still, I can’t wait to try the other ones because they all pretty colors. This is my favorite though! 😀

Essie Brick Oven

This is from last month, I didn’t get to post before because I had to go on an unexpected trip. I’ll be posting a couple more I had since then too.
